![]() Click to Expand Map THE CONTINENT: ARGAIA Our game takes place on a large, mysterious continent known as Argaia. Powerful, ancient magic allows characters from far-away lands and alternate game-worlds to come and go. Characters can be born here or arrive from other areas / worlds. How characters arrive on the continent is up to each player.
TERRITORIES & LANDMARKS Argaia is made up of many territories. It is assumed that there are small areas of unclaimed land surrounding each territory. Threads can take place anywhere within a territory or the area outside a territory's borders. Players can also make up smaller landmarks as long as it is somewhat realistic for that territory. TRAVELLING Territories are extremely large and take a day or more to traverse; however; Characters may use portals, talismans, or other magical items to teleport across short distances, as long as it does not unfairly impact other players. Outsiders can never teleport into any claimed territory. SEASONS Argaia follows North-American seasons in real-time.
FLORA AND FAUNA All manner of living, extinct, realistic, or fantasy / mythological creatures exist in the environment. Animals native to a specific biome are more common in that area; however any animal may be found in any territory. Plants may be realistic or fantasy in nature.
HUMANS Humans and humanoid creatures (elves, dwarves, etc) have never existed in Argaia; however, humans may exist in your character's backstory if they have lived outside Argaia at any point.
DEITIES & RELIGION
Deities, demigods, spirits, and other supernatural beings are common-place in our world. Players are free to create and use these beings for plots or to enhance their character storyline, so long as it does not unfairly impact another player (ie a deity appears during a rank challenge to strike down an opponent, would not be okay). |
