Our game centers around the creation mythos known by many characters. We encourage players to participate in our plot, but characters are free to adopt their own beliefs—or none at all—about the world's origins and the forces that govern it.

In the beginning, the ancient gods lived in harmony. Their ancient power, known as The Will of the Gods, breathed life into the earth, birthed all living creatures, and created magic. This divine energy flowed through all of creation, a life-force shared by every living being. The gods shared their wisdom with mortals, teaching them to use the Will to wield magic and flourish.

But as eons passed, disaster began to unravel the world. Where once there was unity, now there was chaos. Disasters ravaged the earth, stars fell from the skies, and plagues spread like fire. The life-force that had sustained the world began to falter—this was Akrasia, the weakening of the Will. It spread like a blight, threatening not only the world but the gods themselves.

Mortals and gods alike turned on each other, each faction blaming the other for the disturbance and seeking their own answers. Fear and distrust led to hatred, and hatred spiraled into war. The harmony once held by the gods was forgotten, replaced by conflict and division.

Now, only a broken world remains—one filled with strife, where every being struggles to carve out their existence and chase their ambitions. But the question lingers: Will Akrasia consume it all?
